Rehab Center: Jenkin’s Living Center

Jenkins Living Center, Inc., is a free-standing, non-profit health care corporation offering a full-continuum of quality geriatric care. The skilled nursing facility, Jenkins Living Center, is licensed by the South Dakota Department of Health, and is both Medicare and Medicaid certified.

The Jenkins’ organization opened its doors in 1958, due in large part to an expansive fund-raising effort by a group of dedicated Methodist citizens in Watertown. Over the ensuing years, the organization experienced consistent growth – both in size and scope of services. Expansion projects in the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and today have increased the licensed bed capacity of the skilled nursing facility to its present level of 162.
